Giftedness/IQ Testing

Giftedness or IQ testing helps understand a student’s intellectual strengths and how they think and solve problems. It can identify students who may benefit from advanced learning opportunities or enrichment programs.

Reasons for Testing

  • To see if a child qualifies for gifted or enrichment programs at school

  • The student is highly curious, advanced in some areas, or not feeling challenged in class

  • To understand the child’s unique thinking style and how to best support their potential

  • To help with school placement decisions or long-term academic planning
